Beth, I'm glad this story touched you. God's peace to you.

Christie, I hate the not knowing what comes next, but that does keep us praying, doesn't it? Maybe otherwise we'd just pat ourselves on the back instead of thanking God when blessings come. As for writing, keep at it! Most of us who write spend years in a kind of apprentice thing, learning our craft and sharpening our skills all the way. Come to think of it, isn't that how musicians and Olympic champions get good at what they do? I knew one writer who papered her bathroom with rejection notices, then eventually ... she was an overnight success. Go figure.

To all of you who e-mailed me, thanks. Every time I do a post I pray it will speak to at least one reader. It's lovely to get feedback on what I write!

This story is very inspiring and definitely instills hope. My trial is in trying to find a full-time, or at least permanent (if part-time) job. I've had my license for 2 and a half years and nothing permanent as of yet. The Lord has blessed me greatly, though, with 4 short temporary jobs, the most recent lasting 7 months! I wonder what blessing I'll receive next regarding work. He always comes through for me, even if he makes me sweat it up to the last minute! In the meantime, I work on WRITING, another passion of mine. Thanks for sharing this story. Love the scriptural quotes, too.

Thanks Lenore, for this story of Scott's life.I'm in a season of grieving so this is helpful to see what truly is important.
